A cooler Finland

It has gotten a lot cooler here in Finland lately. We've been anywhere from the mid 30's to the low 40's, so it's been a lot cooler than we are accustomed to but a welcome change. We are enjoying the season of Fall here in Finland. The changing of all the leaves and their colors, it's absolutely beautiful. We did take a few pictures here and there.

The children have been adjusting to the cold very well. Chloe always talks about how she can't wait for the snow, and I'd like to respond by saying, "Mommy can". LOL!! We have been pretty busy and active lately. Troy left for another job over a week ago, and he won't be back for another 2 wks, so I've been trying to keep us busy. Chloe had some issues when he first left because she really missed him and wasn't use to him not being around. She's doing a whole lot better and I'm happy about that because it was hard for me to see our little girl like that. She still misses him, and has talked to him a couple of times, so I'm sure she's going to be very excited about his return. I think we all will be very happy to have him back.
On Wednesday, Oct. 12th we went to the Korkeasaari Zoo here in Helsinki with a group of moms and their children. It was a very nice but cool day. The children, of course had a great time, and the moms did too. It was good day all together, only problem was the wind picked up a little and made it a lot colder than it was so towards the end it was time to get home. For us it was definitely time to go because I had one cranky 4 year old. She needed a nap because she was worn out and had a long day. Despite the tantrum that continued to the parking lot, it was a really good day.
Chloe headed into the zoo

All bundled up & ready for the zoo

Enjoying the pacing Leopard
