Yes, there has been a few little milestones going on over here lately. On Aug. 30, 2011, later in the evening Troy Jr took a step or two from his Daddy to his Mommy on the floor of the living room. It was his very first steps in life, and it was great to watch him do this, knowing he was just practicing on what was yet to come. He hadn't bothered before because he just wasn't ready, Troy and I chalked it up as he was just being lazy and he'd do it when he was ready to do it. When he felt like it!! Boy is that an understatement. Yesterday the 15th, while out and about at the Helsinki Playground, he was leaning up against the Lego table playing and then all of a sudden looking over in his direction, I see him just let go. It was so bittersweet. He was too precious doing it. He went from the table to another table right next to each other. It was awesome, the beginning of a new chapter in his life. He hasn't mastered it by any means but he is definitely trying a lot more than he had. When we got back home he took more steps by leaving the table next to the sofa and heading for the stairs because his big sister was standing there and he made it without incident. He's doing pretty good, not too sure of himself yet but he'll get it and once he does, I actually think that's when I'll be scared to death. LOL!!
Later in the evening we decided to go out to the city for dinner. We took a few pictures of Troy Jr all bundled up in his warmer clothing. He's too cute. Chloe was acting shy to the camera covering her face, so that's why there are no pictures of her this time.
