Catch up time!!

I know I'm not blogging everyday, but I try my best to blog as often as possible. That way everyone can keep up with the going ons in our life here in Finland. Lately, we've been hanging out with a great group of people. On Saturday, I finally had a "Me" day all to myself, thanks to my wonderful & very sweet husband. Melanie (J.P.'s wife) and I went to a baby shower for Traci. It was really nice and much needed. The ladies are all great and we all really had a great time. Melanie and I left, and when I got back home, Troy, Chloe & Troy Jr had made a trip to the hardware store where he bought Chloe a brand new swing for our tree. She was having a ball and I took a couple of pictures of her showing it to me.

Sunday, came and we were all planning to get together around noon to meet at the Embassy and head to a dock that was close by to get on a boat that would take us to the island of Pihlajasaari. It's really nice from what we were told, and so we couldn't wait to go. They have grills on the island and wood is provided for you, so all you have to do is bring your own stuff, like a picnic. What a great cookout it turned out to be. We ended up having 7 adults, and 8 children. It was fun and the children had a blast. Another very nice Sunday here in Finland.
