A long day in the city 8/27/11

We started our day by cleaning up the house first and then getting ready for our day to venture into the city and then head to Espoo for a house party with some new friends. We got to Central Railway Station and saw that they had an event going on in the square. (http://www.sinebrychoff.fi/page.php?page_id=678) It's called Syystober Beer Festival, and it was really nice. We walked through different booths and saw various different foods from all over Finland, as well as the beers of Finland too. It was all very interesting to us, so we just walked around and looked at everything. We tried a beer and then headed to the station for a train to Espoo. We got to the party, and met some more new people. It was so nice, and it ended up being a great time. Then, when leaving, one of the nice guys that Troy works with offered to take us to the train station so that we didn't have to walk. We actually decided to go into the city to the metro station and go have a drink with one of the other guys and then head home. It was nice and of course it was time to take the kiddos home, bathe, and go to bed. We got home and did just that. Today, being the 28th, I must say, another great day. We didn't do much but just hang out around the house and just relax. Now as the weekend has come to an end, I sit here and realize how very tired I am. We really had a long weekend but a very good one. Nice time in the city and a great time meeting new people, ended up being a really good time. Goodnight to everyone!!
