Troy with our beautiful children
Mommy & Troy Jr enjoying a swing
We have been away from blogging for a while now. SORRY!! I know we say that pretty often but with our very active children, it's been non-stop around here. Troy Jr turned 1 on the 8th of June and it seems like we've been on a world-win since then. We are moving in three weeks and it seems with all we've done, that there is more to do and just not enough time to do it in. We have been very busy going through all of our belongings and weeding out what doesn't need to come with us or be put in storage. We've probably donated, if I had to guess about 8 to 9 full boxes of stuff. Felt so good to do that. Still getting rid of plenty more and setting aside what will be in storage and what is coming with us. It's just been a little hectic but nothing we can't handle.
We received an email sometime last week with the information on the house that will be assigned to our family and it's wonderful. Realizing that this move is reality and so close makes you stop and think of how fast life can pass you by, so there is no taking things for granted here. We definitely will miss all of our loved ones, great friends and all of the very important people in our lives. Did we ever think in our wildest dreams we would be living in Europe, um no. It's a wonderful opportunity for all of us and we are so very excited about it. Troy Jr can't voice his opinion on it but Chloe certainly is happy about it. She's very sad to leave Florida and all the wonderful friends she's made here but we will stay in touch with all of them. She's already made a point to tell her daddy & I that we have to call on the computer, as she puts it. So sweet, and it only reminds me how much she's just like me. The one that grows attach to everything and everyone. I just love everyone and so does she. We all do but it's harder for us girls then it will be for the boys.
As for today 7/5/11, we've had a real busy past month. Going to D.C. last week and then Baltimore to see family, we are definitely on a roll and are non-stop. We don't see it or us slowing down anytime soon. Next week starts our actual moving. The movers come on the 13th, and they will be here the rest of the week. In the process the 4 of us will move into a hotel until the day of our departure on the morning of the 18th. Until then, we will be busy busy busy. It's going to be a blur but I'm sure by the time we get there and are all settled in, things will start to ease up. Nothing more to update but we will whenever we have more to share. ENJOY!!!!
